Happy New Year Y'all

Don't forget to eat your black-eyed peas and hog jowl for luck!

Hope everybody has a great 2009.

Happy new Year to you!

Yes, I just couldn't find a good picture of it to put up (imagine that).

Happy New Year! Doesn't everyone eat hog jowl? (Except my cinnamon-roll loving husband!)

Hi, visiting again from SITS. What a fun site you have.

We are having split pea soup (which I read was also traditional...) and pork with sauerkraut today.

Happy New Year!

We have the black-eyed peas but no hog jowl. We eat ham - that's close to hog jowl! Happy New Year!

I've nominated you for a blog award! Pop over to my blog to find out more.

I think I'll pass on the hog jowl ;-)

It was always pork roast and sauerkraut when I was growing up.

Now, thank goodness, my wonderful son-in-law who loves to cook always invites us over on New Year's Day.

I guess that hog jowl stuff is a regional thing :P Not bad, really.
