Chimichurri Sauce

I hear that chimichurri is an Argentinian thing, which makes be want to belt out "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina" at the top of my lungs. But because I love you, I won't.
It's good on just about everything. Or even just by itself.
I got this particular recipe at RecipeZaar.
click the link for recipe
Basically you throw a bunch of yummy things into a food processor...
...and pulverize them into oblivion.
We had ours on thinly sliced sirloin that I marinated in the chimichurri for several hours, and then grilled. I even put a little on my corn on the cob...yum!

Go ahead sing ~ OUT LOUD! We need more music in our universe. Make that joyful noise!!

I have never had this kind of sauce; I feel a gap in my life. Ole Sweetie-Pi says I never make enough sauces for his steaks; guess what's coming his way!

LOL - Hubby and I sing out loud when we want to irritate the kids. Both hubby and I have terrible singing voices and it drives the kids absolutely insane, but it makes us laugh like crazy :D Isn't that terrible? The things parents do!! I have been wanting to try chimichuuri for awhile now. I'm totally adding it to the list.

Anything with garlic has my vote! This looks so good!

I sing out loud all the time, I think it's a sickness. My Dad does the same thing and now I've passed it on to my son. At least we come by it naturally!

That sounds delish! I'm going to try it this weekend. Just stopping by from SITS! BTW - I always sing out loud, even more embarassing is when I'm making up my own songs and don't know that anyone is listening.....

Mmmm, I've seen this several times and have wanted to give it a try. I read Monica's comment about dipping tostones in it and that sounds awesome, too. Thanks for the reminder that I need this sauce in my life!

Oh for the ability to pulverize into oblivion! I would spoon that sauce over all manner of things.
