Cupcakes and Pizza

I saw these little cupcakes that look like corn on the cob in a magazine last summer and thought they were the cutest things. The girl had a friend over and so it seemed like a good time to make cupcakes and do some decorating.
Below are the girls working hard on their creations, and what they came up with.
We also had "do-it-yourself" pizza. I used the same recipe for crust from when I made skillet pizza. Sans the skillet.
Actually, this one was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. And I've been eating a lot of pizza!

What did she use to make the white and yellow corn?

The pizza looks delicious! I wish I had some of that right now!

The corn kernels are made from jelly bellies.

Ah I have that same magazine. Whenever I see cute cupcake decorating ideas I rip the page out and add it to my cookbook collection. LOL

They turned out cute!

Julie,
Thank you so much for visiting! Are those just buttered popcorn jelly bellies on the cupcakes? How totally clever! What is the "butter" part?

Julie said...

Yes those are mostly popcorn jelly bellies with a few other flavors mixed in to give it different shades of yellow. The butter is starburst.
