Peanut Butter Cookies

I used to think I didn't really like just plain old peanut butter cookies. I've never hated them by any means. But they just didn't give me the warm fuzzies.
But lately, peanut butter and I have been on pretty friendly terms. Heck, sometimes it's even beyond friendly, if ya know what I mean.
If it wasn't for my guilt in two timing my long time love, chocolate, me and pb might even go steady. Of course I have no objections to the three of us just hanging out sometime.
I promise I haven't been drinking.
I saw these cookies at Ice Cream Before Dinner (which is a blog title I can truly respect).
These are really easy to throw together, and make nice soft cookies that go great with a big tall glass of cold milk. Or whatever your beverage of choice may be.
And seriously, I like the fork marks peanut butter cookies always have in them. But when was it decided that it's just something you do? Cause they always seem to have them.
That's the kind of questions that keep me awake at night.

You are too funny!

PB cookies are in my top 5 favorite cookies, somewhere in with sugar, lemon, oatmeal, and filled.

Chocolate is not an issue. You can have my share, grins.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...I love plain old peanut butter cookies. With fork marks. I believe it is essential to make the fork marks for a perfect peanut butter cookie ;)

Your cookies look great. It's so hard to pick a favorite cookie. If you want chocolate with your peanut butter cookie, you could try something like this http://coleensrecipes.blogspot.com/2009/08/ultimate-filled-peanut-butter-cookie.html

I love a peanut butter cookie, it's one of my faves. I especially love them with a hershey kiss in the middle. There is no such thing as cheating on chocolate with peanut buter, they're best friends!!

Mmm! These would also be scrumptious with a scoop of chocolate or vanilla ice cream sandwiched in the middle! :p

They have fork marks because they're special :-)

PB cookies are one of the forst things I ever baked. I haven't made them since but I remember them being so darn good. I haven't tried to remake them because I know I'll be disappointed if they don't taste like my childhood.

Heehee, this post made me chuckle. I'm not a big fan of peanut butter either, but I do like a good peanut butter cookie. These look perfect!

Yey, I'm glad you liked em! You're too funny - those are the kinds of questions that keep you up at night (Don't worry, I think about things like that too!! :) When I ask my fiance some of the questions I'm thinking about, usually he just shakes his head at me. :)

You are so goofy. I love it.

PB cookies remind me of childhood and when my Mom would bake them for us. :)

I like cookies. I just don't like to MAKE cookies so how 'bout you send me some as an experiment on how well these PB cookies travel?
