Jalapeno Popper Dip

Pretty tired tonight so I'll get right to the point. But definitely want to get this out to you because it's pretty important that you try it this very weekend. See how I'm always thinking of you!
Found this recipe some time back at Closet Cooking. Just click the link for Kevin's recipe.
A few things I did different:
*used 2 pkgs of cream cheese instead of just 1 because I was taking it to work
*used less mayo, about 1/4 cup
*added a handful of bacon bits (oh yeah!)
*probably used twice as much shredded cheese
It was pretty darned good. I think the dip gets a little hotter throughout the day as the flavor of the peppers kinda spreads throughout the cream cheese mixture.
We scarfed it down like a bunch of wild javelinas.

This looks so great. My husband would love this. We make jalapeno poppers about twice a month, but dip would be much easier!

Isn't it funny what happens when you take food to work?? People at work can scarf up food like nowhere else, I'm convinced of it. I love jalapenos and this dip is on my list of things to make. I can see myself justifying a reason to eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Expanding on my previous comment from your post above. I want a snack because I haven't eaten dinner so bascially I'm starving and trying to catch up on reading your blog which of course is a food one.

I wish someone besides myself would bring something in.
