Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

This is Pumpkinhead Lincoln. He made the ultimate sacrifice so I could make these:
Roasted pumpkin seeds. Just lay them out for a few hours to dry, drizzle them with olive oil and your seasoning of choice. Then stick them in the oven at 250 degrees for about an hour. When they come out and start to cool off they make a cool little popping noise, for whatever that's worth.
Now I have something to get out in the open...a confession of sorts.
My name is Julie, I'm from the south and I can't make biscuits.
I'm hoping I can find a 12 step program. Or a flour to use in place of white lily cause I can't get that out here.

I have to sympathize, my only attempt at biscuits have not been very good. I like your lincoln pumpkin. I'll be posting my own soon :)

You know if you drown that biscuit in gravy no one would ever know.

hehe...hockey pucks with gravy. Yum O.
I'm afraid I had nothing to do with carving the pumpkin at all. It resembled work a little too much to suit me.

Just when you think you know someone... I guess you were too ashamed to ask me for help?

Ooooh, I know!! A certain uhm, vampire, movie is coming out soon. You should come to my house, I'll teach you how to make biscuits and then we'll go to the movie!

I just wanted you to think I already know everything.
We should go see that movie together. We can sneak in biscuits for snacks.

Love the Lincoln pumpkin! Sorry about your biscuits. I really like making biscuits and they turn out very good, if I do say so myself :-) It's one of the recipes I plan on sharing on my blog. I just need to make up a batch sometime so I've got some pictures to go with the recipe. Oh - and I don't use White Lily flour.

I can't make biscuits...I get them from my grocers freezer & bake them. But I'm from the Midwest, I think that's ok. :)

And I almost went out to buy the Twilight book too. Other people read too slow for me to be on reserve at the library.
