Blackberry Cobbler

I had such big cooking plans for today. Big, enormous plans. I had 3 different Pioneer Woman recipes I was going to make. This cobbler, some pinto beans, and cornbread. But then after I made this cobbler, I was completely exhausted. Too tired to make beans, people! That's just sad.
But if I was only going to make one out of the three, I'm glad I started here. I know there's some debate whether or not this is truly cobbler. Doesn't really matter, just eat it.
With some whippy cream of course.

On a non food related note, I got a snazzy new haircut today. I'll never get it to poof up like that in the back again, which is why I plan to never wash my hair, ever again.

Oh, that looks delish! And I love the hair, very nice.

Can you imagine what it was like back in the days when they had to put all that work into every meal? I shutter to think of life without a microwave, never mind every single thing made from scratch.

No, I don't think I'm much of a "from scratch" person. Thank goodness for modern conveniences!

Oh, yummy! And good choice on where to start...it would probably be a much different level of happiness in your house if you'd made the beans first and ran out of energy after those!

I don't know what looks better...the cobbler or the new do!

PW is evil. But I love her. And everything she makes.

Love blackberries! It looks almost like a cake. Love the hair!

BTW...it wasn't the cobbler that made me tired. It was really easy. Just being upright sometimes wears me out ;)
Glad y'all like the hair...hope I can make it look like that again tomorrow.

Delicious dessert! And a very cool haircut!

In addition to not washing your hair ever again, might I also recommend not sleeping laying down? Doing so might also cause the poofy effect to subside.

Only sleep standing up going forward.

Cute - let's see the front of the hair. I need a new look.

That cobbler looks yummy. And after cooking that, you don't need to make anything else. That is dinner in my book.

Ooh! Blackberry cobbler - yum! Looks like cobber to me. Cute hair cut, but lets see it from the front ;-)

Don't you hate it when the salon can get your hair to do all kinds of things that you can never replicate?! Ugh! Love the fun new cut.

Cobbler looks YUMMY.

"Too tired to make beans" had me chuckling.

Thanks for the nice hair comments...of course I wasn't able to repeat the look on my own...yet. I'll keep trying. And no shots of the front...I don't want anyone to run screaming while clawing at their eyes :P

First, loving the new haircut. I got mine done yesterday and feel a million dollars, well until I have to wash it and suddenly reality hits and I will never get it the way its meant to be again! So enjoy yours. As for your cooking, yum!! I am getting more and more into cooking but strictly sweets, cakes and dessert - anything with sugar in it.....strange that!

My cousin will seriously not wash her hair for a good 2 weeks after she gets it done...so gross!

I don't have a clue what makes a cobbler a cobbler! It's all good, right? Who cares as long as it has crust. And blackberries are on sale I noticed. Weird..

I want to make that! Except, I'd eat the entire thing!

When I was pregnant (my son is 6 months now) I couldn't get enough blackberries! Something I wouldn't usually eat alot of. Ha! This looks good!
