It's about 109 in the house.
I have to go back to work tomorrow after 12 days off and that makes me feel like a...
The moral of this story? Nothing's cookin.
I'm sure I'll get back in the groove soon.
But...a friendly reminder to my giveaway winner:
I'll wait until Friday evening to hear from relyte@gmail.com, after that I'll offer the prize to a different entrant.

Hope you can keep cool. We've been having a pretty cool summer here this year. Weird. And rainy. Today was pretty though. Not too hot and just a bit humid.

Our June was very hot, but July, when it should be hot, has been abnormally cool. Only 2 days over 90 so far.

WOW...HOT weather! The last thing you need to do is turn on the oven.
That's rough going back to work after 12 days off. Hope you enjoyed your time.

The sucky thing about bad heat is you don't want to eat, but you have to and you get hungry. It's only 105 here, but for once, not even pie tempts me..

where do you live?? I'm in FL and it's been hot too, though I don't think that hot. Your post is cute :)

Beautiful fur baby! What a sweet picture.

We've been abnormally cool and rainy but you can have the hot weather. I don't miss it one bit.

It has been unseasonably cool here for a couple of weeks, but normally we experience such high humidity that I never want to go outside! Or cook! Or move! Take care.

That picture of the crab made me laugh out loud! Seriously. Too funny.

I think I am going to print that one out and hold it up for my family to see from time to time. Don't bother me, I'm...crabby...right now. :)

I'm also feeling the heat. TX afternoons get in the triple digits. My Jeeps temp thingy said it was 114 yesterday evening. Sure does feel like it too!!

I hear ya..turning on the stove/oven when it's 100+ degrees out is the furthest thing from my mind.

If it were 109 degrees in my house I wouldn't be cooking either. That is hot. It was 114 in Vegas when I was visiting a couple of weeks ago and it was miserable. I feel for you. And going back to work always made me crabby too. I hope it wasn't so bad once you got there. : )Sending cool breezes your way....
