Shrimp Scampi with Linguine

This is a Tyler Florence recipe we had for valentine's dinner. (ha! you thought that was gonna link you to the recipe....that would be here.) My husband gave it 2 thumbs up and would have given it more, if only he had more thumbs.
The only thing different I did was add a trillion times more garlic than it called for (accidentally, but it was a good accident). Thank goodness for all that garlic because I sure don't want this guy bothering me.

  1. I must see Twilight! I just finished the second book in the series yesterday and have been surprised that I've liked them so much. BTW: Edward (the vampire from Twilight) says that garlic doesn't bother vampires at all!

  4. I would love it if that 'guy' would bother me!! But I eat way too much garlic for that. I've made this before it's really good. If you like Tyler Florence you should come join our group Tyler Florence Fridays.

  5. The scampi looks just delicious! I don't think it's possible to add to much garlic....

  6. Too funny! I love garlic. I seem to rarely cook without it. I have not had scampi in ages. I almost bought some scampi dishes at the flea market yesterday. They were 20 for $5.

  15. That looks SO good! Anything with shrimp makes me giddy. Thank you so much for your welcoming comment on my blog! :) It was so nice. I am also easily annoyed. But claiming I have some degree of OCD makes me feel better for my short fuse. :)

  18. YUM! Pasta and shrimp is one of my favorites. And I don't think I've ever eaten a meal with too much garlic. :)

Edward may not be scared of garlic but Dracula was, and I was wayyy more scared reading that than I was Twilight.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am bookmarking yours so I can check out the rest of the recipes! I spied chocolate and strawberries down the line...
