This is a Tyler Florence recipe we had for valentine's dinner. (ha! you thought that was gonna link you to the recipe....that would be here.) My husband gave it 2 thumbs up and would have given it more, if only he had more thumbs.
The only thing different I did was add a trillion times more garlic than it called for (accidentally, but it was a good accident). Thank goodness for all that garlic because I sure don't want this guy bothering me.
I must see Twilight! I just finished the second book in the series yesterday and have been surprised that I've liked them so much. BTW: Edward (the vampire from Twilight) says that garlic doesn't bother vampires at all!
ReplyDeleteI must have forgotten that part :P
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing! Tyler's recipes always turn out so great. Love all the garlic too...why not!
ReplyDeleteI would love it if that 'guy' would bother me!! But I eat way too much garlic for that. I've made this before it's really good. If you like Tyler Florence you should come join our group Tyler Florence Fridays.

The scampi looks just delicious! I don't think it's possible to add to much garlic....
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I love garlic. I seem to rarely cook without it. I have not had scampi in ages. I almost bought some scampi dishes at the flea market yesterday. They were 20 for $5.
ReplyDeleteI love shrimp scampi - looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely scrumptious this looks!
ReplyDeleteYou just can't beat shrimp scampi with extra garlic. Looks incredible.
ReplyDeleteI adore garlic infused foods, so I'll make sure to add more, this recipe looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteMMMMMMM, I am definately trying that one!
ReplyDeleteGarlic to the max. Can't go wrong.
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks soooo good. And I agree - there's no such thing as too much garlic!
ReplyDeleteI would for once, like to stop laughing, so I could just read your bloody blog!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSTOP BEING SO FUNNY DAMMIT!
That looks SO good! Anything with shrimp makes me giddy. Thank you so much for your welcoming comment on my blog! :) It was so nice. I am also easily annoyed. But claiming I have some degree of OCD makes me feel better for my short fuse. :)
ReplyDeleteI came by to visit my fellow Welcomista:0)
ReplyDeleteThis looks so yummy!
Oh my gosh, that looks so good!
ReplyDeleteYUM! Pasta and shrimp is one of my favorites. And I don't think I've ever eaten a meal with too much garlic. :)
ReplyDeleteEdward may not be scared of garlic but Dracula was, and I was wayyy more scared reading that than I was Twilight.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am bookmarking yours so I can check out the rest of the recipes! I spied chocolate and strawberries down the line...
Tyler Florence or Edward could bother me any day - it doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteThat looks really good! I'm allergic to shrimp--think chicken would work?
ReplyDeleteI definitely think chicken would work. I usually order the chicken scampi at my favorite Italian place and it's delish!
ReplyDeleteLooks FABULOUS---I am hungry for dinner and it's only 7:12am!
ReplyDeleteMy newest blog obsession has become cooking/food blogs. As if the 40 some mommy blogs aren't enough! So imagine my surprise when I popped over from the Weclomista site to say hello to a fellow welcomer! Then I scroll down and see shrimp scampi, which has become aother new favorite of mine. I'm just excited all the way around! This looks so good! I need to get to the store!
