You know things are going to be okay when you start with 2 of these big guys and chop them up to smithereens.
The recipe actually said to use six 1.55 oz bars, but I did a little math and decided this would be the cheaper way to go, and pretty much the same amount of chocolate. Boy did my brain hurt after trying to do multiplication without a calculator or even a piece of paper in the middle of the store.
They also said to use a "vanilla drizzle" to which I said "PFFT!" We're going chocolate all the way with this thing.
Ah, perfect end of the day snack. Except for the part where I sucked a piece of coconut down my trachea.
i agree any day that is going badly, chocolate can fix it. these look oh so very good.
ReplyDeleteWe're on the same wave length today- these looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThese cookie bars look delicious! Thanks for sharing your recipe :)
ReplyDeleteWhat decadent little treats!!!!!
ReplyDeleteChocolate is defnitely the way to go with this. i sure could go for one right now with a hot cup of coffee!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the coconut and your trachea, that's never pleasant. These look like the perfect thing to fix that chocolate craving. I support your choice for milk chocolate in place of white...maybe they had a moment of temporary insanity when they wrote out the recipe!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for some coffee in that coffee break bars. Guess I could always add some, huh? I would have nixed the vanillla drizzle too. Chocolate all the way!
ReplyDeletemmm...This will give me the excuse to go buy tons of chocolate Hershey bars! YAY!
ReplyDeleteHershey's Kitchen IS a fun site to visit. I'm glad you're okay after sucking down a piece of coconut, but I laughed when read it. Sounds like something I'd do!
ReplyDeleteThese bars look so very good. Yummm...can just imagine lingering over a hot cup of coffee with one of these.
Everything you've been making lately looks so good, especially this!

I do the same thing at the store. Trying to figure out the cheaper way to go. Much easier at the grocery store. Just check the price tag on the sheld.
ReplyDeleteThese look awesome. I'm suffering here trying not to eat a snack so late. Not helping.

Would it be ok to just take the whole thing out of the pan and eat it that way?
