Blueberry French Totes Casserole

I know toast is spelled wrong there, but that's how my baby girl used to wake me up when she was a toddler. "Mommmeeee.....TOTES!" It worked. Got my sleepy butt out of bed and made that girl some totes!
It was potluck day at work. We have themes now. Can't just whip up whatever tickles your fancy and bring it in...noooo! Today's theme was brunch. I made this bread-pudding like casserole that I found at About.com of all places. It's pretty darn easy. All I did was chop up the bread into cubes the night before and I was able to assemble it the next morning and throw it in the oven at the godless hour of 5:15 a.m. It's yummy with maple syrup. We had casseroles and cakes...
Potatoes and bacon....
Quiche and fruit....
Eggs and waffles!
And this....
That's right. I'm another year older and wiser. I mostly feel the older part :)

  2. Happy, happy birthday!! Hope it was a good one.

The French Totes looks awesome (and what a cute story) but I have to say, if I worked in your office I could never get any work done. I would be sitting around all day like a slug, wishing for a nap!

  3. I have a loaf of french bread in my freezer with the intention of using to to try bread pudding. I even had a bag of blueberries, thinking I might use those in it, but my daughter used them all up in smoothies. Now I'm inspired to buy more blueberries and give it a try.

  29. They do the same kind of thing at my work. Yesterday they called it summer BBQ.

I have to say I don't participate. I'm always on a diet it seems. Stinks, but my mean Dr. fusses at me so bad, I do really try to be good (sometimes).
