A very nice recipe from the folks over at
Gourmeted.
Not too labor intensive for a fun looking dish. I served it over a bed of garlic linguine and some sauted veggies.
Also I did a little pan deglazing with some butter, red wine and chicken broth, and it was quite yummy drizzled over it all.
I think next time I might change up the filling a little bit....leave out the honey and maybe add some mozzarella ....yum!
Yummy. I have a roulade in my backlog of cooking, but who can resist sausage! Looks yummy, I'll have to give that one a try!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comment, and for making me have to look up the word roulade :P
ReplyDeleteThese look great! How can you go wrong with chicken and sausage?!
ReplyDeleteThe cream in the middle is just cream! That's it! You could go fancy but sometime I think you loose the lovely flavors you just created. I used to add vanilla and sugar to the cream but I weaned myself off of it, hence, it is just plain old whipped fresh cream.
Mmm...cream :)
ReplyDeleteI need scones!
